Integrated Data Warehouse for Indian Agriculture

Agriculture is one of the most important inventions of human civilization. The development of human civilization and development of agriculture technology were the two wheels of the cart. Unfortunately, it has been witnessed that the development of agriculture technology is not in the same ratio as human civilization is developed.

Data warehousing is one of the important concepts that is capable enough to provide solutions of Ad-hoc queries of farmers for efficient planning of cropping system. Since last one decade the data warehouses have been implemented in the field of customer relationship, marketing and finance, but there are very few work done in the field of agriculture. This work led to design an “Integrated Data warehouse for Indian Agriculture”.
